How it Works

Navigating workplace challenges can feel overwhelming. PeopleFirst Workplace Advocacy provides structured, professional support to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Here is what you can expect when working with us.

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Start by clicking here to submit an inquiry. This provides us with a brief review of your situation. We will respond within 24 hours with a link to our client intake form.

Step 2: Client Intake Form

If your situation is time-sensitive, feel free to skip Step 1, and click on this link for the client intake form

This allows us to understand the basics of your situation before scheduling a consultation. You may be asked to provide:

  • Contact information
  • Employment details
  • A brief description of your workplace concern
  • Any relevant deadlines or upcoming meetings

This helps ensure our initial conversation is focused and productive.

Step 3: Schedule an Initial Consultation

After reviewing your intake form, you will be invited to schedule a consultation. During this conversation, we will:

  • Discuss your situation in more detail
  • Identify key workplace dynamics or concerns
  • Clarify your goals
  • Determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs

The consultation is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and better understand how workplace advocacy works.

Step 4: Engagement & Service Agreement

If we decide to move forward together, you will receive a Professional Services Agreement outlining:

  • Scope of services
  • Fees and payment structure
  • Professional boundaries and expectations
  • Confidentiality and privacy considerations

Services begin once the agreement is signed and payment arrangements are confirmed.

Step 5: Strategy & Advocacy Support

Once services begin, we work collaboratively with you to navigate your workplace situation. Support may include:

  • Reviewing workplace documentation
  • Preparing written communications or responses
  • Coaching for difficult workplace conversations
  • Helping you understand employer policies or HR processes
  • Strategic guidance for workplace decision-making

Our goal is to provide clear, informed support, so you can approach workplace challenges with confidence.

Step 6: Ongoing Guidance

Some workplace situations resolve quickly, while others require continued strategy and support. Depending on your needs, services may involve:

  • One-time consultation
  • Short-term advocacy support
  • Ongoing advisory guidance

We work with you to determine the level of support that best fits your situation.
